If you are interested in bowling, why not come along to one of our Chummies sessions, which are currently being held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 2-4 pm. This would give you the opportunity to “have a go” before deciding whether or not to join the Club. Everyone is very welcoming at Chummies and members are used to helping beginners.
If you would like to join us the cost for non members is £9.50 per two hour session. The Council is the owner of the Shrewsbury Indoor Bowls Centre and payment of the bowling fees are payable at the Sports Village main Reception where you can also hire bowls. Clean, completely flat soled shoes must be worn, shoe covers or bowling shoes are available in the bowls centre.
If you do decide to join the Club, the cost of membership payable in October for the 2025/26 season is £30, plus a £6.30 fee for the two hour bowling sessions.
If you do decide to come along to Chummies please allow plenty of time to pay at the Sports Village and be in the Bowls Centre by 1.45 pm as we start promptly at 2 pm.
